Algorithms 4: Algorithms Plugged - Medium

< Back to Building Block

Overview

In this project, the learner will create a program that includes sprites you have created and then bring them to life using various code blocks. (estimated 40 min)

Learning Objectives

By the end of this activity, learners will be able to...

  • Increase algorithmic thinking processes by constructing programs with multiple block types
  • Make use of the Scratch paint editor to design their own sprites

Materials and Resources

  • Learners must have a Scratch account to complete this project. If they do not have a Scratch account already they will need to complete the Step-by-Step activity first

Vocabulary

  • Block: A single command that provides a Scratch sprite with an action to complete
