Step 3 of 4: Creating a Scratch Account

Now that you have made your first Scratch project, it is time to save the project by creating an account with Scratch.

Create your educator account with Scratch by clicking on this link. After completing the registration process you will need to verify your account by clicking a link that was sent to your email account.

**Please note that your educator account will be approved by the Scratch team in less than a week. Until then you will still be able to create and share projects**

  • After you have created and verified your new Scratch account, name your project “Add a Backdrop”
  • Click the orange “Share” button
